Dr Paul Allen is a lifelong reader of all things mysterious, especially spy thrillers. He is an ACC Pastor, author and lecturer in Theology and Bible.
He enjoys the following authors: Tom Woods novel Victor series. Preston & Child unique novels – Lee Child’s character Jack Reacher and Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch. Most of all Tom Clancy’s books, started Paul’s interest in spies and espionage.
To research Red Banners, Paul and his wife travelled through Europe and visited sights in London. He researched Australian and UK intelligence agencies, espionage tactics, and weaponry.
On another holiday, they also spent a day in Italy. In Milan, the train station triggered a thought that inspired the next Hunter Wyatt Thriller – Murder in Milan.
Paul has several degrees in philosophy, sociology, and theology. He has been a musician, youth leader, lecturer and public speaker. He lives in Australia.
